Help!!!!
Okay so I have a completely obsessive compulsive personality, and lucky for me it seems to work on just about anything. So I am addicted to working out. I mean all I think about is going to the gym. How good I am gonna look when this weight is gone, and what my next workout is gonna be. I sit at work all day waiting for the time to pass so I can get home, gte changed and get to the gym. Don’t get me wrong, I am not complaining, in my opinion that is a good thing, but the problem is, I am having a hard time on my food. Not that I am eating badly or succuming to cravings, it is just the opposite. I am having a hard time reaching my 2,000 calories a day. Plus with all this working out, my body is comstantly wanting food, but I don’t know what to really eat to be fulfilled and btu not blow my diet.I mean I am eating alot of salads and chicken breasts and veggies, but I need some good, high protein, low carb, low fat snack foods. Any suggestions???????????????

Nuts are a good choice (esp. Almonds) they are full of protien, fiber and the “good fats”.   Also, low-fat cheese works well for me.

I agree on the nuts.  Almonds also eaten 30 mins before dinner can help suppress the appeittite too.  Makes you feel fuller.  Same with peanuts.

I agree with everyone that said nuts, I have found the Special K protein bars work really well, and they have 4 or 5 different kinds to try.  My uncle’s girlfriend is a health nut and she told me about them, eat one of those and you are set for a couple of hours and I believe its about 150 calories but not too sure on that.

I love the 100 calorie snacks. They have them in just about anything now. I find that they will fulfill my need and hold me out until dinner or just needing a little snack. Love these things!!!

I’d say that almonds work the best for me as well. I like the whole natural ones best but I eat the smokehosue ones as well for variety. What about string cheese? I like the cheddar/mozarella mix. I also make turkey breast and provolone cheese wraps. If I’m having the wraps for lunch I’ll add a sliver of red onion and a piece of green leaf lettuce just to give it more bulk. You could even wrap your in 1/2 a whole wheat or low carb tortilla to make it more filling.
